[Pkg-javascript-devel] Rewriting jslint and jshint?

Hi there!

I've noticed that there are a lot of Node.js projects out there which
are making use of grunt as part of their build system.  And grunt
depends on jshint, which uses a modified version of jslint, which is
non-free (no use for evil).  This is probably going to be a growing
problem as time goes on.

I'm not a javascript expert so am not up to the task, but is there
anyone who is thinking of writing a free drop-in replacement for
jslint or jshint so that the build-chain can be freed up?
