The end of the sentence made more sense in the previous version of this sentence:
> You can store the application state into URL hash and restore the state from it. 

I suggest:
> The application state can be stored into a URL hash and later restored from the hash. 


By the way, "A jQuery history plugin" reads strange. I'd recommend "The jQuery history plugin" over that.
