Not that I recall - and no need asking IMO: Anyone working on such 
package is expected to inform about it by filing an ITP bug!

I checked as well now at https://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/prospective 
and agree noone is (claiming to be) working on packaging of jquery 2.x.
