The Homepage:[1] leads to an almost empty page. 
The github repository URL[2] in debian/copyright is redirected to a 
different project[3], where the README says:
   "xmpp.js is a rewrite of node-xmpp"
Further, at least for me it was not possible to connect with the example
send_message.js to a jabberd2 with legacy ssl.

Maybe it is time to remove this package and switch to xmpp.js?
