This package is not lintian clean, you should fix all warnings (lines
starting with W).
W: node-console-control-strings: description-too-long
N:
N: The first line of the "Description:" must not exceed 80 characters.
N:
W: node-console-control-strings: extra-license-file
usr/lib/nodejs/console-control-strings/LICENSE
You should remove LICENSE from debian/install
You should ask upstream (open a new issue on their github project page)
to create tag for new releases. It is preferred to use github tarballs
rather than the npm dist tarballs.
See the following page for steps to manually download the git snapshot
https://wiki.debian.org/Javascript/Nodejs/Npm2Deb -> Workflow example 2
-> Option 2: Download via github.com commit snapshot
Once you switch to the github tarball, you should enable tests.
