Not precisely.
Upstream v8 currently supports mipsel, however upstream node doesn't,
so mipsel issues are not investigated. Patches are accepted, though.
However it's usually tricky to find out what's wrong. And it takes an
eternity
to build node on mipsel, so debugging is time-consuming.
I suspect v8 7.8 to run mipsel just fine.
There is an ongoing PR on node to merge that version of v8 into node 12.
That would automatically fix the issue with mipsel.
