Updating that dependency is already in upsream's TODO list

.. but they seem to lag on updating dependencies.

I guess it would require fixing against this breaking change:
https://github.com/uuidjs/uuid/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#-breaking-changes
and upstream the patch ..

Why do you need uuid v8 if I may ask ?
