I stand corrected: While emscripten itself is fully arch-independent, 
its ability to succesfully compile _is_ architecture dependent.

E.g. emscripten will currently refuse to run on bigendian systems: 
https://github.com/emscripten-core/emscripten/issues/12387

Thus reopening.
