If it's okay to use some of the dependencies present in nodejs source
tarball,
it might be possible.
The buster versions of libuv1 and icu are not right though and are going to
require more work.
For instance some new functionnalities of nodejs 12 rely on icu 64 at least.
Also installing nodejs 12 on buster will break some packages that only work
with
nodejs 10.x. I don't know how to deal with that.
