[Pkg-javascript-devel] Bug#1001526: pkg-js-tools: require autopkgtest should check if the module is commonjs before running require

I think it is detects type: module in package.json, it should not run 
require test. May be there is another way to test the ES module, can we 
just do import * from module?

I don't know if there is an easy way to detect browser only modules.
