[Pkg-javascript-devel] packaging and debuging of the javascript part of ipywidgets

Hello, I am trying to understand why the ipywidgets are not usable in 
the jupyterlab environment.

So, I am trying to rebuild the ipywidgets using the  upstream build 
system, which use the jupyterlab-packaging module.

This one seems in charge of the javascript  compilation etc...

So at some point it try to build the package and I end up with this 
error message.

- My first question is how can I be sure that I use only the debian node 
packages and not some library downloaded from internet.
