Hi,

while investigating some npm tests issues, I realized node-signal-exit
wouldn't compile from typescript because of:

tsc -p tsconfig.json
src/index.ts(304,34): error TS2345: Argument of type 'string | number | undefined' is not assignable to parameter of type 'number | null | undefined'.
  Type 'string' is not assignable to type 'number'.
