Yes, until autopkgtest is integrated into buildd infrastructure such
that a failing package test prevents binary packages from getting
installed to the archive, we need to run the tests at build time.
Currently autopkgtest is run [1] sporadically due to lack of hardware
resources and on amd64 only, and a failing test has no consequences.

It would be good if you could manually verify
adt-run julia_VERSION_amd64.changes --- schroot unstable-amd64-sbuild
before every upload to check for missing files and shlibs depends.
