Hi Mark,

this beta is mostly a bug fix release.  So it should be save
to unstable.  I voted to name it rc1 but Gilles what to fix
some more things.  If upstream will not work on media: in 0.8.2
I'll talk discuss it again to get out the 0.8.2 as next tarball

I'll hopefully find some time tonight to write an announcement
and will then upload this tarball to sf.

btw. I use for bz2 -> .gz

	bzcat2 <name-ver>.tar.bz2 | gzip --best -c - > <name_rev>.orig.tar.gz

it looks like 'your' orig.tar.gz file are always a bit bigger.
can it be that svn-<whatever> does not use --best?  I received
several MD5SUM mismatch reports.
