digikamimageplugins is not using libXcursor.la directly. It indirectly
inherits it for some .la of another pkg in the build dependency
tree (pkg not rebuild with the X11R7 yet I assume).

I see that libkipi, libkexif and digikam also failed to build on m68k
(these pkgs are build deps of digikamimageplugins)
so it could well be that the older debs still refer to libXcursor.la
and libXrender.la

Easiest would be if someone with access to an sid m68k host
does an
	aptitude build-dep digikamimageplugins
and
	egrep -r libX(render|cursor)\.la' `find /usr/lib /usr/X11R6/lib -name '*.la'`

and checks which pkgs still contain .la files that still refer
to libXcursor.la or libXrender.la.

It may be that due to the failed builds the only pkgs are: libkipi,
libkexif and digikam :(
