Hi,
Thu 16-Feb, 20.00 UTC (in ~ 19 hours) the kubuntu developers will
have an IRC meeting on freenode.net #ubuntu-meeting.
I used the oppertunity to add the following topic to the
action list:
Working a bit closer together with Debian and therefore potential
debian sponsors. One possibility 'Debian KDE Extra Team' svn
repository: [WWW] http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-kde/kde-extras/.
To get involved:
o get an alioth account
o on #debian-qt-kde ask for an addition to pkg-kde project with commit
right to kde-extras tree (admins usually ask for a signed e-mail to
verify the irc nick and alioth user match)
o where to put the branch for kubuntu's debian/ dirs?
See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kubuntu/Meetings
My hope is to
o make the Debian KDE Extra team and the repository better
known in the Kubuntu world
o Less duplication of work and quicker bugfix transfer via
a common repo. Commit msg on pkg-kde-extras keeps one
up to date
o more peer review via more members
Would be nice if some of the members of the 'Debian KDE Extras Team'
would be there. I will (nick allee).

To me vi is Zen. To use vi is to practice zen. Every command is
a koan. Profound to the user, unintelligible to the uninitiated.
You discover truth everytime you use it.
