hi,

i couldn't reproduce your bug using kde3.5.2 + kaffeine 0.8.1 trying in 
konsole an export LANG and LANGUAGE with ru_RU.cp1251

Can you try latest kaffeine and tell me a way to reproduce it if the bug still 
exists.
