OK. Done.

We now have a _much_ faster build machine hedges.billgatliff.com. I
can set you up an account on there to build things if you like. It's
not fully set up but does have sid etch and woody chroots and dchroot
set up to point at them.

I'm adding the above build-deps on that machine too.

Send me a login name and ssh key to use that box.
