imagemagick

Hi,
I had a look at the kubuntu changes to kipi-plugins:
1) split out -doc:
-rw-r--r-- 1 ach ach 5299212 2007-02-05 22:11 kipi-plugins-doc_0.1.3-1ubuntu1_all.deb
-rw-r--r-- 1 ach ach 3189296 2007-02-05 22:11 kipi-plugins_0.1.3-1ubuntu1_i386.deb
Doc is quite huge. Looks like in DSL times debian users don't care
that much about size anymore ;)
2) Prefer graphicsmagick
recommends: ... graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat (>=1.1.7) | imagemagick (>=5.4.8) ...
Isaac told me that koffice switched to graphicsmagick. And Gilles (digikam
upstream) plans to replace imagemagick runtime dependency with libgraphicsmagick
build-dep in kipi-plugins.
So 2) looks like it makes sense mergin. For 1), does pkg size
outweight the pkg bloat?

To me vi is Zen. To use vi is to practice zen. Every command is
a koan. Profound to the user, unintelligible to the uninitiated.
You discover truth everytime you use it.
