Hard? Agressive? This Mail? Hmm, I don't look at it as agressive, really
not. I do not immediately want to join Icecream maintainership, it was
just a question of pure interest.
You made a perfect example of one of the two possible team mentalities:
- "Everybody can join us, main target is that $PACKAGE got bugs fixed
and new features"
- "We are just a closed team, provide patches or help somewhere else"
So, I see that you are more part of the second opinion.
I mean, if I'm the maintainer of a package and add it e.g to
pkg-kde-extras this means "Don't make it complicated, just upload it
if you want and you're sure what you do".
I hope this answer won't be misunderstood, it isn't meant personally in
a way, it was just a simple question. :-)
