Hi,
it's late, I'm tired but I try to summary nevertheless.

Today new version of libkdcraw, kipi-plugins and digikam were
build/released. Next week will see a new libkexiv2 release.

libkexiv2 and libkdcraw with have a new ABI major version, so
we have a little library transition pending :(

I suggest to upload libkdcraw libkexiv2 first to experimental
(the will go to NEW queue).

Last library transition of libexiv2-0.12 -> libexiv2 make gwenview
crash when an updated kipi-plugins was uploaded. So we added
a 'nasty' concflict libexiv2-0.12 in digikam. vorlong mentioned
that this could be prevented via version symbols (example e.g.
http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=3074)

IMHO is would be nice to add verioned sym to both libs. Due to
the ABI change we are free to add it ourself. Nevertheless
upstream is interested to add it to next libkexiv2, but they
and I don't know how to best integrate this is the KDE auto*
magic (without breaking non linux systems).

Note we have to add versioning before first upload on
libkdcraw 0.1.1 or better wait until next ABI break
by upstream.

Any suggestions welcome,
Achim
