Package: kile
Version: 1:2.0.1-1
Severity: normal
Previous versions of kile would ask you to create non-existent files. This feature disappeared at the last
upgrade:
[UPGRADE] kile 1: 2.0.1~rc1-1 -> 1:2.0.1-1
Example code, file 'parent.tex'
=====
\documentclass[11pt,a4paper]{article}
[...]
\input{child}
[...]
=====
File 'child.tex' does not exist. File 'parent.tex' is saved.
kile 1:2.0.1~rc1-1:
double clicking on the 'child.tex' item of the 'Structure view' would ask you if one would like to create the
missing file.
kile 1:2.0.1-1:
double clicking on the 'child.tex' item of the 'Structure view' is ignored.
I found that feature quite usefull. Now I have to do the extra step of 'touch child.tex' from the command line
in order to be able to start editing new sub-files. Not a big deal, but the old behaviour was just so convenient!!!
Thanks for the excellent software.
Johannes
