There is currenty no kipi-plugins for KDE4, so I can't do much with this bug report :-)

The upstream focus is on getting digikam functional for KDE4 and then upstream will focus on the plugins. That's why digikam 0.10 rc is sitting in the experimental. It isn't supposed to be used in full production yet.

However by all means join the effort upstream at www.digikam.org and it will happen sooner.
