[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#514911: different behaviour with different canon, same bug?

I did update too and digikam says:

Failed to connect to the camera. Please make sure it is connected
properly and turned on. Would you like to try again?

Starting digikam from console doesn't report any error.
I can see the camera recognised in dmesg.

Same problem running as root.
