Hi,

FWIW: I can reproduce the problem with a Pioneer DVR-108. Burning
CD-ROM/RW works fine, but when a DVD-R/RW is inserted, k3b keeps printing

| [...]
| (K3bDevice::ScsiCommand) failed:
|                            command:    GET PERFORMANCE (ac)
|                            errorcode:  0

|                            asc:        0
|                            ascq:       0
| (K3bDevice::Device) /dev/scd1: GET PERFORMANCE length det failed.
| (K3bDevice::Device) /dev/scd1:  Number of supported write speeds via 2A: 6

| (K3bDevice::Device) /dev/scd1 : 3528 KB/s
| (K3bDevice::Device) /dev/scd1 : 2822 KB/s
| (K3bDevice::Device) /dev/scd1 : 1764 KB/s
| (K3bDevice::Device) /dev/scd1 Invalid DVD speed: 705 KB/s

(and USB gets resetted).

Wodim works all right so far.

Cheers,
MB
