Looking at the code, in XMLDB/FileReader.cpp, it seems it's the only place in the sources where a #ifdef HASEXIV2 is used, whereas all the other sources seem to use #ifdef HAVE_EXIV2
I suspect upstream may be interested in having a look at http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/graphics/kphotoalbum/XMLDB/FileReader.cpp?r1=698273&r2=698274& and if this is still OK.
