Hi,

If the name of the comparator application is "kdiff3", then Krusader
doesn't remove the file:// protocol, and uses URL-s.

If it's different, Krusader downloads the files to a temporary folder
and compares them locally.

The shortest way to circumvent the problem is to create a symbolic link,
such as kdiff3-qt, and use that link as comparator.
