> guidance-power-manager requires a python module named kdecore, which is included in python-kde4, but this does not apear in the PYTHONPATH by default:
> ...
> $ locate kdecore
> /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4
> /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4.2.0
> /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.5
> /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.5.3.0
> /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5/PyKDE4/kdecore.so
> /usr/lib/pyshared/python2.5/PyKDE4/kdecore.so
Please update python-kde4 to the latest version. The one you have is buggy and
doesn't even exist in the archive anymore.

> Segmentation fault
Sure, guidance-power-manager uses and depends on python2.6 for a reason.
Please tell us if, as I expect, the python-kde4 upgrade fixes the problem.
