Package: Skrooge
Version: 0.7.2
I am having a problem with skrooge crashing when I open an existing
skrooge file. I installed skrooge from the Debian Testing repository.
The program installed properly. The program opened initially without
opening an existing file. However, it crashed when I tried to open my
existing skrooge file. The terminal output is below:
**************************
|~ $ knotify(2046) KNotify::event: 2 ref= 0
skrooge(2081)/kdecore (services) KMimeTypeFactory::parseMagic: Now
parsing "/usr/share/mime/magic"
kdeinit4: preparing to launch /usr/lib/kde4/kio_trash.so
KCrash: Application 'skrooge' crashing...
sock_file=/home/scaramanga9/.kde/socket-satellitea215-laptop/kdeinit4__0
kdeinit4: preparing to launch /usr/lib/kde4/libexec/drkonqi
drkonqi(2083): Unable to find an internal debugger that can work with
the KCrash backend |
**************************
I also tried the versions from the Squeeze and Experimental
Repositories. The Squeeze version also crashed when opening an existing
file. The Experimental version said that it was unable to open the file.
I tested other versions of skrooge from other distributions. Version
0.6.0 in Ubuntu and version 0.7.3 in PC Linux OS were able to open the
existing file.
Thank you.
