Package: kde-config-touchpad
Version: 0.8.1-1
Severity: normal
Many thanks to the maintainer who have upgraded this little, but
foundamental package. Works well, except a strange behaviour
When I have installed this package I would expect that after a reboot
the touchpad's icon appears in the tray icon bar automatically. But this
doesn't happen. It's not a big problem.
Then I run the software from the menu entry, in the kickoff, or with
/usr/bin/synaptiks in a shell and a new window appear with a strange
setting:
A check box (default unchecked) with a label "Automatically start at
logon" and here happens the strange behaviour:
(1) If the checkbox is unchecked and the Synaptkis is in running ( == I
have a icon with a touchpad in the try icon bar) at the next reboot
synaptkis start in the try normally
(2) If the checkbox is checked and the Synaptkis is in running, at the
next reboot synaptkis show me the window of settings
(3) If the checkbox is checked and no instance of Synaptkis is in
running, at the next boot synaptkis start normally as (1) but the
following next reboot start as (2)
