Package: ktouchpadenabler
Version: 0.1.1-1
Severity: normal
My laptop has an LED light that is supposed to light up when the touchpad is
disabled.
[ 8.102613] Registered led device: dell-laptop::touchpad
The LED interface appears to be properly detected by the kernel (3.6 head).
Also, the LED works properly and can be turned on / off by doing this:
Aya:/sys/devices/platform/dell-laptop/leds/dell-laptop::touchpad# echo "1" >
../brightness
Aya:/sys/devices/platform/dell-laptop/leds/dell-laptop::touchpad# echo "0" >
../brightness
So I believe it's just a matter of getting ktouchpadenabler to use the LED
associated with the touchpad.
