I tried to install it on a:
- wheezy/i386 system, upgraded from squeeze
- wheezy/amd64 system
both

Was the system a freshly installed one? Did you already had some configuration
files for basket? Is it the first run of basket, or were you able to run it
successfully at least once? If the latter, it looks like

Can you please try to install the debug packages for kdelibs, kde and run the
program under gdb until it crashes and report the error?
