It looks like lightdm-1.8 bumped the soversion of liblightdm-qt, so now
reverse dependencies fail to build. However, jessie is not (yet)
affected as the package did not (yet) migrate.
As upstream already has a patch for it (but no release), I'll probably
cherry-pick that patch.
