He is a member of IEC TC57 WG 10, 17, 18, 19, the IEEE PES Power System Relaying Committee and several working groups in CIGRE B5 and D2. He is the editor of the Quality Assurance Program for the Testing Subcommittee of the UCA International Users Group, holds one patent, has authored and presented more than 25 technical papers.
He involved in the work on the standards series IEC 61850 since 1996.He is actively working in several international projects regarding the definition of implementation strategies for IEC 61850 and Smart Grids.
He has authored and presented more than 25 technical papers. He is also the writer of the "I Think" column in the Protection, Automation & Control World magazine.
