Since version 2.8, Amarok features the Analyzer applet, allowing "visualization" of songs, as Winamp and WMP do: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_visualization

This is supposedly working with Phonon's GStreamer backend, but it doesn't work here, where I use the VLC backend. When a song is playing, the applet doesn't do anything in Blocky style. In the Balls style, nothing. Disco shows something. but apparently unrelated to what is playing.
Strangely, Blocky does something, but only when no song plays.

A patch limits occurences by preventing the Analyzer applet from showing by default:

README.Debian also mentions the problem:

However, the applet can still be added when using the VLC backend, and quietly displays as if it was functional.

Not setting normal severity, as this is not a regression and the feature is optional.
