Package: digikam
Version: 4:4.4.0-1.1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Going to the digikam configuration and disabling (unchecking) KIPI modules has
effect only for the running session of digikam. After closing and restarting
digikam, many of the previously disabled KIPI modules appear again in the
Import/Export menus. They also appear as enabled (checked) in the corresponding
digikam configuration page. The digikamrc file seems to store the information
correctly in its [KIPI/EnabledPlugin] section.

See attached screenshots.

It is worth to note that 5 out of 40 KIPI modules correctly keep the disabled
state (GPSSync, iPodExport, KioExportImport, KMLExport,Panorama) and that only
all other 35 have this re-enabling behavior (in the digikam GUI). Because of
this KIPI module specific behavior I could also imagine that the bug is not in
digikam but in kipi-plugins package.

Best regards,
--Rafael
