        Dear Maintainer, <br>

        * What led up to the situation? <br>
        <br>
        I recently updated my KDE desktop to plasma5 which entails a lot
        of changes, lots of things not working yet, including this one.<br>
        partitionmanager errors out saying that root password incorrect.<br>
        This is a false positive, root password is correct.<br>
        I tested it on other programs that depend on it, like Synaptic
        Package Manager.<br>

            ineffective)? <br>
          <br>
        I just launched partition manager from an icon in my desktop<br>
        <br>
             * What was the outcome of this action? <br>
        <br>
