KDE Gods will not permit this backport into 3.4 branch.  I'm not sure why, as 
it is a straightforward patch.  I suppose its because of their policy: "We do 
source distribution; not binaries."  Anyway, to avoid dependency on 
libgstreamer, you'll need to include the patch in the package.  Sorry.
