Actually, never mind on the question about what changes you made, I figured 
out how to browse the svn logs on websvn.

One possible change to kdepim I've been thinking of is to replace 
kmail_nofinal.diff with the hack you've been using for the other packages to 
disable final mode entirely on architectures which have trouble with it.  
That might also be useful in kdeedu with kstars.
