I guess we don't want to adopt this part - we have firebird available.

seli usually knows what he does - and the patch looks non-intrusive. Let us

urgh. looks hackish but non-intrusive. I would prefer fglrx to fix it, but I
guess we can work around it.

I don't know much about this. it changes some stuff I have too little clue
about.

It basically just adds __attribute__((visibility("default"))) to some things.
I dunno. Don't know too much about -fvisibility.
