kdeutils Kubuntu merge

[Roderick B. Greening]

A couple of kubuntu patches to correct opening of .gz and .deb files within ark 
might be of interest in this merge. 

Also, the addition of the printer applet package to install as well as a patch 
for the applet from trunk.
