You do not need to keep any package around, user X installs KDE 4.2 realizes
that does not like it, user can:
- install kde 3.5 from testing (yes, for limited time this one)
- install kde 3.5 from local apt cache or copy made on purpose.
- build his/her own kde 3.5 packages fetching debian/ from our repo
  (branches/lenny(
- go to snapshots.debian.net and fetches a copy from there.

And of course, never ever update kde...
