KDE 4.1 is a desktop environment, not a whole operating system. There are many
linux distributions with KDE, but few offer KDE 4, most still offer KDE 3.
Kubuntu, the KDE version of Ubuntu, offers KDE4.1 for Intrepid Ibex, but
provides a relatively poor implementation. In addition, In a few days, KDE 4.2
is coming out, and there is a Debian Live cd available with KDE 4.2 available
here: Click Here It is a torrent, so you need a BitTorrent client to download
it. (Don't worry, perfectly legal, since it's not copyright violation, it just
uses less bandwidth, and therefore is less expensive to distribute this way)
It'll give an ISO that you can burn onto a CD. (Or maybe a DVD, depending on
size of image) Then, insert the CD, and reboot to use.
