Please make sure that this is also filed as a bug in the bts. It makes
tracking of such issues a lot easier. Mails like this one might just
slip through.
And please get in contact with the author, to clear this up.

Although indeed this license is not clear, I *assume* (which is not
enough of course) that the license is a variant of the beerware license,
which AFAICT is free. I am not sure what the standpoint of the RT at
this stage would be regarding this vague license text.
Of course it definitely should be fixed in jessie.
