I wanted to add my script to pkg-kde-tools, and make it depend on python3.
This will allow me not to add that build-dependency to every Qt source package.

Unless someone minds, I will do that tomorrow. (I also thought about preserving
the compatibility with the previous script, i.e. reading the WRITERESULTS env
variable, but who needs env variables when there are commandline options?)
