Hey,
KDE PIM 18.08.1 is nearly ready for upload. All rev-deps in unstable are fine
with the new versions except blogilo [#908869].
* the akonadi-serializer-{name} (with name, calendar,mime,contact) plugins
were moved from kdepim-runtime -> akonadi-{name}. I packaged these plugins
within the normal lib package. Is it better to create a new package for those
plugins? Those plugins are needed to serialize the bytestream from and to
Akonadi. Only if those are installed you can request a calendar element etc.
So with the move of those plugins, external programs like kmymoney, digikam
etc. do not need kdepim-runtime anymore. Also tests do not need kdepim-runtime
anymore, what was a showstopper for Debian to run build tests.
* what about autopkgtests. I never dived into them. Do we should remove them
completely? What files I have to delete?
* usr/lib/*/sasl2/libkdexoauth2.so was moved from kdepim-runtime -> libkgapi.
So far I understood this is the needed plugin for sasl to support OAUTH2 for
gmail accounts. I created a new package in libkgapi named libsasl2-modules-
kdexoauth2 and made kdepim-runtime to depend on this. As I do not use google
stuff, I overseen that move. So libgkapi needs to go through NEW again.
Git master is uptodate, so feel free to fix stuff.
Regards,
hefee
