Well as we need to do another upload, we can do very small fixes. E.g. bump 
Standards-Version or other small things like that. If you don't want to fix 
that now, we go the way dmitry suggested and ask for a binnmu.

Well there is nothing wrong with your package. It is only paperwork and two 
requirements from different Debian groups, that don't work together.
We have FTP masters: For a package, that needs to go through the NEW queue, 
binary packages need to be uploaded. 
The release managers: Only source-only uploads are accepted to move to 
testing. 

That's why we are currently in the situation, that we need to do a source-only 
upload and fixing some small bits is a good reason for another upload ;D
