Hi Hefee, thanks for your reply!

I know from a more distant past that Debian packaging standards are very
high and that doing it right can require a lot of reading and
commitment. I'm dancing at too many parties already including libexpat
upstream and 60+ packages in Gentoo where I did bump KDbg packaging to
3.1.0 already [1] as an approved non-maintainer upload [2] — the package
is owned by the KDE team in Gentoo. I cannot take the duty of keeping
this package up to date in Debian also, I'm a happy user of Debian on my
work notebook but I'm a visitor in Debian, my home is elsewhere.

I repaired KDbg Debian packaging because I felt it mattered a great deal
to be back in Debian and keep users away from starting to install .deb
files manually for security, to not effectively teach them that was okay
and normal and secure; I helped KDbg upstream with two bugs and
introduced CI and I'm happy I did that as a fun short-term side project,
but I will need to retreat to where I came from. That is why I am
looking for someone to take over this low-cost and low-maintenance
Debian package from here. I am happy to help with a smooth handover as
needed but I cannot commit to duties in Debian after handover. Thanks
for your understanding.

PS: I'll be attending 37c3 in case a face-to-face on the topic with you
or another member can help in some way.

PPS: Neither your nor my reply went through
pkg-kde-talk at lists.alioth.debian.org . Should we do anything to let the
other team members know that and what we spoke?

Best

Sebastian
