Libraries in NEW for Plasma 5.27 beta

Dear FTP Masters,

I’ve uploaded kdecoration, kpipewire and libkscreen to experimental with NEW library packages required for the upcoming Plasma 5.27 release :
kdecoration :
  new library : libkdecorations2private10
kpipewire :
  new library : libkpipewiredmabuf5
libkscreen :
  new library : libkf5screendpms8
  soname bump : libkf5screen7 -> libkf5screen8

- The new libraries will be used by other Plasma components starting with 5.27.
- The soname bump for libkf5screen is considered internal because it’s only used by other Plasma components, and we don’t do transitions for these.

So I’d kindly request to accept those packages if you consider the changes suitable.


For reference we’ve shared our (Qt/KDE Team) plans for Bookworm in #1025715 [0].
Summary is we consider supporting Plasma 5.27 for the duration of Bookworm will be easier and that it will get more upstream focus than our 5.26 currently in testing/unstable.
