Dear GNOME/GTK packagers, packaging KDE Plasma for Debian,

Please be advised that our KDE 5 series contains (after second dot in sub-versioning number) only and only bug fixes (and translations). These are not new software but only bug-fixing sub-versions. Hence in Debian 12, dear friends, you are missing over a year of (only- sic!) bug fixes! As these are not new versions, they are safe to update and are in line with Debian policies of not introducing new software (new software could introduce new bugs itself, we at KDE get it!). This is not such a case here, as these sub-versions (second dot) are not a new software per se, but only bugfixes. We hope this clarifies our versioning numbers that are posted clearly in our public (we've never hidden this info) table as BUGFIX ONLY:
